"Oh, We Need a Little Christmas!"

Eating pears!

Reading Are You My Mother?

Absorbed in her book!!

Cereal!

Not pictures again?

There is a learning curve to gingerbread cookies. On my first attempt, I wanted to give up!!

But by the end, they looked okay...

“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow,

stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons.

It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags.

And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore.

Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before.

What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.

What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more.”

Blogging Block

The McAffry family's Thanksgiving picture!

Because I seem to be having a huge blogging writer's block , and it doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon, I thought I would quote others for a while and see if the inspiration hits!!
And maybe a I'll throw in a picture or two of Charlotte along the way!! ; )

Here is today's Christmas quote...

“But I am sure I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round… as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable, pleasant time: the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.” — A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens
